Re: Any Boston offers?
They just sent a post-screener rejection; the screener was a few weeks ago. The letter was riddled with errors (typos and they got the name of my school wrong.) Needless to say... I didn't want to work for them anyway.

What's the sense people have of the timeline from BR callback to offer/rejection? Didn't get a chance to speak to the recruiting coordinator at all during my callback and have no idea what to expect.Anonymous User wrote:there's one brown rudnick offer above. anyone else heard something after calback either way?

What do people have to say about Brown Rudnick? I've read the Vault profile and researched on Chambers, etc. I know they have a good regional profile, and a strong Hartford practice and bankruptcy in New York. But what is your sense about their presence in Boston? Chambers doesn't treat them so favorably.
Thanks for any insight.

Can't speak for other offices, but in Boston I think the work is decent. However, it is a freaking sweatshop. They are grinding their associates right now for a lot of hours. Moral is not great. Associates are tired. If it's your only offer, definitely take it though.Anonymous User wrote:What do people have to say about Brown Rudnick? Has anyone received no word at all from Choate Hall after the screener? From this thread it looks like they've got more than enough candidates but it's nice to have some hope I'll get a cb (or maybe my letter just got lost).

are you trying to decide whether to take a cb or an offer? they do enough of everything that it's worth doing a cb.Anonymous User wrote:

Has anyone heard from ANY K&L gates office about CBs? I did a screener a month ago and have gotten CBs or rejections from every firm I applied to in the (non-Boston) market except them.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone done a CB at K&L Gates? They seem quiet.
