Yes, why not? You call the legal recruitment people, not the lawyers obviously. Pretty sure the legal recruitment people don't get involved in decisions unless you do something ridiculously stupid and they communicate that to the hiring partners. I don't think that includes asking when to expect a decision.

Got a Cleary e-mail rejection late last night. I thought the call back had gone really well. So much for Thursday night's reception.

Has anyone heard from Davis Polk this week? (I know people got offers last Wednesday.) Tonight is the CLS reception. So maybe more offers/rejections will come tomorrow.
