I'm supposed to do a clinic spring semester, which I signed up because, you know, everyone says to do a clinic. But now I'm thinking it's just going to be a lot of work when I could otherwise be playing flash games while sitting through lectures/cutting class to play golf.

Anyone else thinking about dropping their clinics this year?

Definitely no. It's the only thing I'm looking forward to about going back.

I'm not paying $150/hr to sit in a chair to listen to a professor talk. I'm paying $150/hr to get a piece of paper that will allow me to work in the profession.

Let's not post offer/ no offer shit on this thread. It doesn't make anyone less anxious and it doesn't give anyone useful information. At best it just clutters the thread up. Worst, it's bragging and makes people more worried.

I try to ease my anxiety by asking associates for stories about the one person in the office who was no offered last year. So far I have not thrown up from drinking at an event, insulted a partner's house, or hit on the recruiting coordinator. Hoping that's enough

I may or may not have done the latter of those things. It is unclear.

Thank you for that correction. I don't want to mislead people or be too big for my britches. I will be sure to stick with the V50 proles from here on out.
