So people have gotten offers today from a firm I had a callback with on the same day. Am I out of the running here? I'm just surprised because I thought it went really well at the time.

Is 8 a good number of callbacks to have? I'm terrified of striking out. I don't think I'm a great interviewer and I'm worried that'll really show in these callbacks.

8 is plenty my man. Most CB to offer ratios are above 50%. Would be immensely difficult to strike out with 8 attempts.

concur! also, i have found that most of the callbacks i've been on have been similar to the screener interviews. if you did well enough in those to get the 8 callbacks, you should be good to go to get some offers!

So is it just me or do CB lunches kind of suck? Maybe I've just had bad associates, but at the ones I've done so far we've run out of things to talk about around halfway through, and then it just gets awkward
