Say you have received grade requests from a firm or know a firm hasn't finished hiring yet, and you applied say last week, and today you have an offer from somewhere else. Follow up with those firms, or is it too early, or what?

The multiple lists idea is fine maybe, but arguably just as cumbersome. Nothing wrong with keeping track of top firms; your post just read really poorly.

For the record, since someone expressed concern, there's no rule forbidding profanity here, and people are encouraged to post as much information as they like about whatever jobs are of interest to them, regardless of where they fall on made-up rankings or whether they meet some people's criteria for sufficient preftige.

(Although please keep personal abuse to a minimum. Calling someone's post fucking stupid is preferable to calling the person fucking stupid. Thanks.)

I'm presuming the anon here posted some of their own information about offers/interviews/grade requests etc. in the list in their original post, and therefore I'm not outing them (that may be incorrect but I'm erring on the side of caution). As noted, though, if they want to die on this hill continued inappropriate anon may result in a ban. (The snarkfest is all the same anon. It's not a free for all.)
