Nah, it probably helps you. It will give you a reason to say you want the firm at 2L OCI -- I declined firm X for firm Y last summer, but after working there I think X might be a better fit for reason Z.

And I feel very sorry for those who are so uptight about wanting that kind of limited report for the list-seriously I must have uncovered some deep, badly healed wounds. No one's trying to limit the board as a whole. It's just easier to spot what you're looking for; it's no different from wanting to create an easily identifiable list of say southern firms, or impact lit, etc.

And yeah, in general grow up. Not all of us are out here just trying to take what we can get - some of us have targets by whatever criteria is meaningful personally. Get. over. yourself.

The multiple lists idea is fine maybe, but arguably just as cumbersome. Nothing wrong with keeping track of top firms; your post just read really poorly.
