This is just dumb. get an email and a phone. You have a TLS account but no email address? Is that even possible? You're trying to become a professional. act accordingly
Also you do have an email address, columbia made you one
OP here. Wow, where do I even begin. Not everyone on this forum is a trust fund baby who can just drop hundreds of dollars on phone and Internet bills. And how do you know I have a TLS account if all my posts are anonymous? Busted.
Also, I don't even go to Columbia, so actually they didn't make me an email address. Way to make assumptions about people you don't even know. Just go home.

Is there an official OCS policy as to how much notice we need to give when cancelling callbacks? Heard 48 hours but didn't see anything on the EIP website

No, obviously earlier is better, but OCS is never going to know when you cancel.

Y'all confuse me. Trolling on topic gets everyone riled up, but everyone is totally fine with treating other people like absolute shit. It's acceptable to say to someone who is trying to help other people that they are giving "objectively awful advice" (also, as if any of you actually know what you're talking about...with everyone giving vastly different and contradicting advice, lots of you must be wrong, so maybe don't be so quick to act like you're an expert because you heard one anecdote that supports whatever confirmation bias you already had), it's acceptable to tell people that there's something "wrong" with them if they don't have a certain number of callbacks, and it's acceptable to just be an all around (conveniently anonymous) jerk, and put other people down because you're in Columbia Law School and feel entitled to say whatever you want. Would you talk like that to someone in person? I know some of you would, but some of you wouldn't, so don't do it here. Anyway, someone makes a joke (which, by the way, looks like some of you bit on pretty hard) and suddenly everyone speaks up about how inappropriate that is. Y'all need to get your priorities in order.
Outed for using anon to troll then alting around a ban to whine about it

Hope your day gets better. If you re-read what you just posted above, I'm confident you can find a convincing rebuttal to your own rant in what you've already written.

Brave anon. To whom exactly is this addressed? People ITT are not putting each other down. This is a very supportive environment. There are douchebags in other threads that have produced negative energy by denigrating those with less recruiting success, and I have consistently excoriated them. As for the little misinformation dig, on the majority of the points made in threads like this, there is widespread agreement as to the correct answer or fact, and where there's an honest dispute or difference of opinion, posters can see both sides and appreciate that it's not a clear cut issue.
