Just to tag onto this, anyone heard from any TCDIP firms?
Not sure if anyone has answered this yet. I know that some people have had interviews (likely screeners, but I'm not entirely sure) with Oppenheimer, Briggs, Stinson, Gray Plant Mooty, Larson King (callback style, but unclear if it was actually a callback), Dorsey and Faegre. All of the ones after Oppenheimer have been for TCDIP (I don't know about the Oppenheimer one, it was likely TCDIP, but I'm not 100% sure so I don't want to rule anything out). Robins interviewed for their diversity position (not TCDIP), I think doing callbacks next week or so. Gray Plant Mooty is trying to match the pace of other firms (or so I hear) so likely they will move pretty quickly, within 1-2 weeks for callbacks.

Hope this helps. I know being in the dark is really frustrating.
OP with the TCDIP firm question here.

Received a CB from one of the listed firms to set up an interview. This firm is my top top choice.

Stats: URM, T14, lots of WE

Anyone have insight on how grade stingy MN firms are, specifically for TCDIP?

I can't comment on TCDIP, but I applied to many of the larger MN firms and it was pretty quiet until I sent in updates on my grades (~3.7; top 10%) and then had lots of responses within a matter of days. I know they're quite selective, especially for applicants from non-MN law schools and without significant ties. Good luck!

Thanks! I guess its safe to assume they employ similar hiring methods for diversity programs as they would their summer associate program?

Fish & Richardson Dallas filled their single 1L spot
Jackson Walker Dallas filled their (not sure how many) 1L class
HP has a big in-house diversity program in Fort Worth, deadline's passed but might still be worth throwing an app (they told me to apply even though I told them I was not a diverse candidate in any way)
BNSF has an in-house program in Dallas

DPW did 1L OCI at SLS, so I don't think that's accurate.

So I understand this system-is this just one person's report of how they're doing in the process OR is it a general report of firm activity that anyone can update?

Anon with 3 week CB, got rejected this morning.
T-14 URM below median grades.
Perhaps this is a sign I should drop out now instead of taking out more loans.

One semester of grades does not necessarily determine your outcome. Feel free to PM me to discuss. In the meantime, keep applying.
