Do you guys think Milbank (currently @200k; as far as I’m aware it’s the only one on this scale) will match DPW anytime soon?!
The silence makes me think that it is going to raise above DPW.
Hopefully they will do so in the next few days so it can announce the new scale effective as from (supposedly) July 1, and the rest will follow the same.

Any updates from Atlanta, other than K&S? Assuming after the K&S raise it's only a matter of time for the other big firms....

The firm's town hall is on 6/30. I'd expect a match to occur then.

Any updates on the Houston lit boutiques? Most (if not all) of them matched 2018 raises.

Any word on when Ropes will actually deliver the match they promised on the Town Hall a fortnight ago?

Foley & Lardner townhall last week seemed to indicate they may not do the DPW raises but instead move everyone to a national scale (now secondary markets are at a reduced pay level compared to Chicago/NYC). If it's like past raises it won't be effective until Feb 2022. Probably will still lose people to other firms so not sure why they are being cheap - but until the memo comes out only time will tell.

Julie says we are getting it so I’m not worried. Maybe they are waiting to see if anything changes in the market before raises start being paid. Pretty sure Ropes only releases junior salaries anyway.

Stubs and summers at 205k? There are effectively two scales at this point.

There really aren't. The stub year thing is a fart in the wind, and it's dumb to pay any attention to it.

Susman Godfrey went to $210k to $370,000, apparently (source: Law360).

Would be surprised if folks did follow. SG has always had above-market comp (all in, that is).

Ummm isn’t this supposed to be effective tomorrow?? Still nothing formal on Ropes raising.

Not sure what Ropes pay periods are but they have until their first pay day in July to make it official. Can always announce its retroactive to July 1.

We get paid on the 15th of every month. I assume that even if they don’t send an email, we will see the raise in the next paycheck.

Can confirm that the new scale is effective July 1. I am at Ropes and have heard from credible sources.

Did they come out with, like, a wheel you get to spin where it's a 50% chance you get a raise to market and 50% chance you get laid off?

They printed "The Market" on a piece of glass and shattered it with a hammer, then announced the same salaries as everyone else.

If they promised it a fortnight ago, shouldn't the match be announced forthwith?
