Maybe you're on some kind of alternate or waiting list, depending on who takes the CBs from their initial round? Not getting a ding when others are getting them (especially if others who interviewed with your interviewer) has to be at least somewhat positive
I've heard that they might be waiting to weigh their candidate pool at NYU and other OCIs. It would make sense but I don't know how true that actually is.

what's the rule for canceling callbacks? Like, how close to the CB can I still cancel?

I cancelled Sullivand and Cromwell the morning of, but that's probably not ideal.

If you have a recruiting number, I'd just try calling. I had to email, leave a voicemail, and then call again to schedule my callback with a different firm.

definitely try calling or emailing again. I called and left a voicemail and later received an email confirmation.

Man still haven't heard from Skadden, S&C, or Sidley. All NY all Friday interviews. At this point do I take that as a positive? That I'm "on the bubble"
