yeah i have a year of work experience and i also had a few bizarre accolades from college. plus a positive GPA trend. idk to be honest. i didn't think i would have that many initial interviews [based on the top 20%/secondary stats on paper], but some of these things must have worked in my favor.

MN here, just because I didn't see anyone else from MN on, but I know I'm curious. This is actually my first time posting on TLS - reading the threads when I was applying just stressed me out, haha. So, please excuse any posting etiquette faux pas.
Top 25% (probably more like 10%, but they just tell us quartiles), LR, IP, some work exp., not from Midwest
27 applied, 19 preselects, so far 7 CBs (Minneapolis, Chicago, East Coast), 1 hard ding (Lindquist), 2 that I haven't heard from but I know have made CB offers. Sent out a few direct mails to my non-midwest home market and so far, nothing.
Any one else heard anything from Twin Cities firms?

Pretty quiet from Twin Cities firms. I think they move slower. Mind sharing where your CBs are for cities firms?

Re: Midwest T25s OCI discussion/results
ND - Top 15-20%, LR, 3+ yrs of WE
Not sure of the breakdown between OCI and networking but
28 screeners (4 canceled for call backs)
7 CB (still waiting on some firms from screenings, may get 1 or 2 more)
Will share markets if PM'd, but afraid I might out myself.
Anyone know what a typical CB to offer rate is?

So, Taft called back basically everyone at Illinois it sounds like. I think I've counted at least 4 people including myself.

No, I went to the first date, which was last week. There was one other Illini there with me. Good luck with it, they're all very nice.Anonymous User wrote:Are you going to the CB dinner this week as well?
