Forever and ever.
LOLing cuz I just noticed it right now on my phone...
Well if your phone is like mine, this website is teeny tiny and it's a damn miracle to click on the thread I want to view and get it the first time and not the thread above or below it. I'm too lazy to double-tap to zoom in. Which is probably why you never saw the 'top' button...
Back on topic - if I get a CB at my top-choice firm, how do I make it clear that they're my top choice and would accept an offer immediately without coming off sounding desperate? Is that even possible?
Very, and its a powerful move. I said it successfully during the "why our firm" question. YOu then go over the reasons you like that firm, and in with "and thats why [x] firm is my top choice". When they hear top choice, they assume you will accept the offer on the spot if they offer though, so keep that in mind

Just as I'm posting I got another...
McDermott (DC) and Finnegan (DC) callbacks today.
Ding at Foley (I don't even remember this interview), Nutter (just screwed it up), and O'Melvany (really that O'Melvany dude sucked so whatevers).
Grand total: 7 CB, 3 ding. 15 to go.
I have a very specific skill set and lots of experience/publications so don't let it get you down.

I'm interested primarily in the Chicago market but it doesn't seem like there's been much movement from them. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me, thanks!

I thought I read earlier that someone got CB from Greenberg Traurig and Troutman Sanders, maybe I misread.

I saw that too. Dunno about GT, but Troutman is huge and has many nationwide offices. I don't believe they specified the office.

I mentioned this earlier, I got callbacks from Greenberg Traurig and Drinker Biddle & Reath, both in Chicago, and a ding from Foley & Lardner for EE prosecution. I also got an offer to return to the firm I just finished my 1L SA with, and a part of me just wants to accept that and start refusing any callback offers i get.

I haven't heard anything from several Chicago firms that start with an "M".

can you split a summer w/ your 1L firm and a firm from PLIP?
Depends on what those firms' split summer policies are.

Got a CB in california, but I live in NY. I had a couple of other firms that I'm still waiting on either a ding or a CB. Is it smart to inform those firms that I will be in California and even if they might not have determined my candidacy, I would love to meet other members of the firm if it is convenient.

Since this is the Loyola PLIP thread, presumably your offer is from PLIP - congratulations. Would you mind sharing your CB date and perhaps also the firm? Stats would be helpful as well.

Juft ound out about my CB: the firm calls a bunch of us in, and watches us interact with each other. Weird.

Yeah, I'm only on this coast for a little while longer so it was definitely faster than normal.
