I have 1 DC CB, have not heard from 10, and have 1 DC rejection.

My guess is that they are offering HYS, Top X% of T14, Top Y% of GW/AU, and then they'll move to the next tranche at T14.

OCS was insistent that pre-OCI was not a big thing in dc and would not affect what jobs were available at OCI. I know a ton of people with multiple dc offers pre-oci (including firms OCS said didn't) while it seems to be very slow at OCI. I can't help but think they were totally wrong and the smaller classes are largely full.

I used to think the same, but the ABA employment summaries have only 10% or so of HYS going to DC and almost all firms in DC have more Gtown graduates than any other school (can verify on law firm websites). Both students and law firms have strong regional biases.

It's a combination of 1) people not posting; and 2) more Pre-OCI activity in DC this year (this will only continue to increase in the future).
