Stupid Q but I’ve seen a lot of ppl on other threads write about getting dinged. Do all firms send rejections? I.e., does no CB but no rejection mean you’re still in the running??

I think at least for the NY firms that dinging is uncommon. I've been told they ghost you and then eventually send a ding but it might be several days after they've already sent out CBs
