Re: DOJ Honors 2016-2017 Cycle
I received the same code: "crm-afml, crm". Is this asset forfeiture and regular crim or just asset forfeiture? Also, I assume that we will be getting a follow up email for scheduling interview dates in the near future?

Re: DOJ Honors 2016-2017 Cycle
I believe it's for both, and not just for asset forfeiture. And I think we will get an email and submit potential dates for interviews. As far as I'm aware, most components will also ask for writing samples and unofficial transcripts.

Re: DOJ Honors 2016-2017 Cycle
They might still be rolling in. At the risk of sounding like a total douche, my 2 and 3 picks are posted but my number 1 (Crim) isn't. My resume screams Crim but has only a small connection to my #2 and there is nothing in my entire application that even suggests an interest in #3.

To the people that had a code appear, when did you submit the application? I'm just wondering whether the codes are rolling in as they are reviewing applications and the 28th is the deadline for them to review all applications.

I have two codes up (poster above talking about 2/3 being up) and submitted the night the application closed.Anonymous User wrote:To the people that had a code appear, when did you submit the application? Re: DOJ Honors 2016-2017 Cycle
Yep. I knew it would be an uphill battle. I have good credentials, but I don't have a demonstrated interest in government on my resume. Am still hoping for a miracle clerkship that will allow me to reapply in the future with a stronger application.Anonymous User wrote:I still don't have a code, but again I don't expect one.Anonymous User wrote:I didn't have a code yesterday, but I do today. Maybe their trickling in as components get done reviewing applications?

I just have CRM-AFML, and CRM. I figured that code would include both.

Re: DOJ Honors 2016-2017 Cycle
I have a CRM-REG code and a CRM code but only applied for the Trial Attorney spot. I don't know why it shows up with both codes, but I think the more specific code is the one that identifies the interview received.

Re: DOJ Honors 2016-2017 Cycle
It seems like good news for those with codes but I really wish Deanna would post something with clarification of what exactly this means i.e. Is it coming in waves or all at once. Guess we might have to wait until Wednesday to know for sure.

"Selected by" just updated to CRT. Assuming this means something, does anyone have an idea of what the interview is like?

Had you checked before without success when others had posted that CRT was up? Just trying to figure out if it's rolling.Anonymous User wrote:"Selected by" just updated to CRT. Assuming this means something, does anyone have an idea of what the interview is like?
