Last year HUD sent out interview invites in mid October, interviews in early November, and offers extended in late December.

HUD has a very centralized interview process to ensure uniformity. Everyone is asked the same set questions. Interviews are held at the nearest HUD office so HQ and regional interviews are at the same time.

Got a post-phone interview email saying "we have decided to forward your application for further consideration." From the screener, it sounded like there was an application review by the higher-ups between the phone interview and on-site callbacks. Have not heard anything since the email (a couple weeks ago). Definitely interested to hear if anyone out there has back about scheduling a callback.

OP w/ DOL, OCC, IRS interviews. No L&E background whatsoever, no finance background; some tax experience. I submitted my DOL app quite a while ago (Julyish?). I applied to OCC and IRS in September.

(for what it's worth, I was quite incoherent during the DOL interview--so I don't think I've taken a spot away from anyone more experienced!)

Anyone hear from the SEC, or know when they might begin reviewing applications?

DOL reached out for phone interview today, I applied by email a couple weeks ago. Some discrete employee benefits and labor law experience but nothing to serious.

I had a screener with IRS back in July. Callback over the phone three weeks ago. They said I'd hear back late October/early November.

Had screener in late July, did callback interview at preferred field office iin person in late August, received offer the next day. Process went much faster than I was initially expecting. I am very grateful to them both for the opportunity and for the fast turnaround as from threads I read in the past, in some cases it looks like it takes many months. Good luck to you.

Wondering if DHS reaches out to people today. It's already mid-October, and they're supposed to be conducting first round interviews this month.

Anyone hear back from NSA regarding a full panel interview? Offers are supposed to go out by the end of the month, so I thought callback invites would have gone out this week.
