2L here. I'd love to work in CO after law school, so I guess this means that I have more time to overall add more experience for them.Anonymous User wrote:2L or 3L?carmensandiego wrote:Ding from CO PD. That stung.

RE: CO PD. I have a friend who summered there as a 2L. She applied directly for a non paid position. From the way she talks they pretty much assured her she has a job this next year. We go to a regional T30 school (not in the CO region) and she doesn't have stellar grades or anything. So if you really want CO I highly recommend volunteering there this coming summer.
Also I have been rejected from just about every PD job since being accepted at Clark County. At this rate I am going to likely not go to the fair and see if they can interview me at their office since it will be a cheaper flight going to Vegas than DC for me.
You know I read through all the previous years threads and saw how much of a bloodbath this can be for 3Ls but it still really stings when it happens. I have actually had a really traumatic semester so I am taking this all better I think because I just have no more fucks to really give. I wonder if my cover letters are just realllllly awful since the only accept I got was at a place where we couldn't send them. I already had my CSO look at them (not like they really help with anything) maybe I can ask a professor who has already offered to assist me on my job search. Anyways I will take my bummer mood to the Vale thread. Congrats to all that have interviews. At least it makes me feel good that there are an abundance of stellar future PDs out there!

Thanks for the advice, I'm for sure going to apply to them directly and see what they have to say at table talk. But still, sorry to hear about the dings and good luck with Clark County!!Anonymous User wrote:RE: CO PD. I have a friend who summered there as a 2L. She applied directly for a non paid position. Ding at LAS. Not surprised, no juvenile experience, but tried to convince them my work would translate. Definitely applying to their other sections though

Tell me about it. Graduated with honors from a top 10 law school and got rejected everywhere except NH and CLASI. This fair really can turn into a bloodbath...Anonymous User wrote:I got an interview with Bronx crim and NH PD (3L). Struck out pretty much everywhere else. Give it some time. All of my interviews have taken at least 1-2 hours to populate after I received the e-mail.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone been able sign up for an interview slot for Bronx Defenders? I am having trouble.
