Also got a HUD interview call today for the next week. They seem to be earlier than usual, past threads indicate early November. So I wouldn't lose hope yet!

Just got a call from the HUD NYC regional office. Seems like these calls will be going out over the next few days?

I got a call from the NY office, but I only requested headquarters. The person who called me is out of the office today, and I'm calling tomorrow to see if the position is for NY or DC. (I go to law school in NY so perhaps they thought just a screener there would suffice)

From what I gather, there is only one round, and you interview where you are closest. They interview for all positions and then place you where they can.

Not sure if this is first round. My friend told me she has an interview at the FCC and its supposed to be two hours. Looking at threads last year discussing the FCC I suspect this is the final interview with several panels.

as with other agencies, i'm guessing HUD is interviewing at least 100 people haha.

I just got an email from the Miami regional office for an interview next week. I'm pretty sure I put the Southern region as my 1st choice. They didn't indicate if the interview would be by phone or in person. Waiting to hear back.
