It would definitely be noticed that you did not pick up your nametag. Probably not a straight ding but certainly not the best look.

Is it best to prioritize the firms you really want rather than dropping by each for a little bit?
I had the same dilemma during 1L OCI... I had two receptions to attend, and I went to my first choice in the beginning, and planned on going to the second later but I somehow managed to get myself drunk... what, that bar made some stiff cocktails

Anyways, don't do that, but try to split the time between three. If I could change the order again though, I'd go with the second because their personality/culture was way better.

I'm at SMU but we don't have a thread going for OCI so I'm jumping in so I can stay posted on when call-back offers are going out. I've got screeners with Holland & Knight, HayBoo, Dentons, Schiff Hardin, and Munsch Hardt (all Dallas offices). Good luck to everyone.

Now that I'm reading through the past comments, it looks like UT has already done screeners and y'all are already hearing back about CBs? That sucks for SMU; our OCI doesn't start until Aug. 17.

Most of the posts about screeners and CBs are about the NYC job fair, which happened last week. UT starts OCI on the 11th, and I wouldn't worry too much about Texas biglaw firms filling up their classes early like NYC does.

Speaking of callbacks though, where are the rest of the NY firms? The only one's I've heard nothing from are King and SPalding, and Norton Rose. Unless others have had calls or letters from them, what is taking so long?

I wrapped up my NY CBs yesterday and both firms said that I should hear back this week.

Have others completed NY CBs / received early offers yet? Please keep us updated.

Congrats!! Both would be fantastic options. I'm hoping to hear similar good news following my CBs (not Davis Polk or SullCrom).
