I got one coming up in a few days. I had the screener a long time ago and have had it scheduled for a while. They and about every other firm I've been working with seems to be actively dragging their feet on 3L hiring.royilae wrote:Any CBs from STB NY?

Dings: Shipman & Goodwin, Duval & Stachenfeld, White & Case (corporate NY)
Silence: Loeb & Loeb (litigation NY)
trying not to fall into the same trap of *can this really be happening to me?* like last year.

The Chicago lack of movement is not surprising but very frustrating.
I'm leaving my summer firm's offer in the balance, and I know it isn't making the people in the practice area I'll be joining happy.

I don't know why people in the summer firm get so antsy if you don't accept right away or relatively fast. They need to chill - these are big decisions!Anonymous User wrote:The Chicago lack of movement is not surprising but very frustrating.

Bumping for any potential movement this week, particularly in Chicago.

Re: 3L OCI
Has anyone else not heard anything from Jenner Chicago yet? No response to my initial e-mail, or to my followup e-mail last week. Should I assume this is a ding-by-silence (like everything else so far)?

I did not specifically apply to Jenner but I have heard nothing from Chicago firms. I am assuming it's a ding.

Honestly dude I have not heard of a single person getting a screener or call back from applying to Jenner as a 3L for that corporate position.Anonymous User wrote:To those in Chicago w/ Jenner, how long after a phone screener or screener did you hear anything back?
Has anyone else heard of them actually calling back candidates ?

Sorry, was like last week I think... It moreso just came up in conversation since we're both looking to move firms, so I'm not positive when they actually heard back. Also waiting on this--sort of driving me crazy. I know there's been movement at least for 2Ls. No idea fo 3Ls. You're talking post-CB, right?Anonymous User wrote:any movements from Weil NY?
