Re: OTIP
Anon from earlier who also got dinged there. Miami is such a fucking joke of a market. I'm born and raised in south Florida and never left until lAw school and was getting grilled hard about ties. Getting callbacks to New York left and right and Miami has been radio silence apart from one market paying callback who takes 4 summers and is probably interviewing 400 people for them. So over that market. It's impossible unless you are a urm with a 3.7 who speaks 4 languagesAnonymous User wrote:Akerman (Miami) and Bilzin (Miami) dings via snail mail

I couldn't agree more. Median at a CCN and absolutely no Miami CBs after my screeners. Upsetting to say the least.Anonymous User wrote:Anon from earlier who also got dinged there. Re: OTIP
Same anon who ranted but top 1/3 at dcng. I feel like Miami prefers people who are top of their class at Miami, Florida or fsu over people at t-14 with ties because they know those people are not leaving the so fla market. It's frustrating when you have to try to convince someone that just because you went to the best school you got into does not mean you are considering Miami only as a backup.Anonymous User wrote:I couldn't agree more. I am not expecting anything else at this point and really hope I pull an offer from the 1cb but honestly I am starting to Lean NYC mostly because the total Miami rejection is just offsetting and discouraging
