I never had a phone screener and went straight to CB. Is that a good sign?

Any numbers or ratio predictions for how many are interviewed for the Palo Alto office vs. offers for this office?

Does anyone know the stats of how many people get cb interviews versus how many people get offers?

I received an email to set up an interview in NYC 2 weeks ago, interviewed last friday after being flown in and was told I would hear back sometime this week. They asked me if I had any pending deadlines and I said no. Sooo we shall see. There were a bunch of other people there interviewing as well.

I, as well as a classmate both received interview request emails the week of Jan 12, no screener or phone calls first (but I have seen posts that people from schools in NY come in for a screener first) just an email saying they'd like to set up an interview. I chose my date and the times are either 10:30 2 or 2:30 something like that. You meet with 4 attorneys 30 mins each back to back, a tour of the office and depending on your time slot a meal with 2 attorneys. Pretty standard basic interview, no hard questions pretty conversational. You also wont get the list of people you are meeting with until the night before. When I was in the lobby I spoke to someone from another school and they said there were a bunch of them up for those days interviewing. From previous stalking of TLS on the subject, offers are made on a rolling basis, they get hundreds of applications 300-500 and interview around 40 then hire 8-12 so if you get the interview, odds are pretty decent. Overall, the firm is great and the culture seems awesome. You're going to be working like crazy anywhere so you might as well choose a firm you like.

^^^^ I can confirm that this is correct. I interviewed in DC, but the interview process was the same.

FWIW, I know plenty of people who got CBs without a screener.

DC applicant here - haven't heard either way post-interview.

Edit: I'm on the edge of my seat here so please put me out of my misery if anyone's heard of DC offers going out!

I interviewed in DC as well. They said they'd be releasing offers in the beginning of Feb. Haven't heard anything yet.

Edit: I was told that they were expecting to hire 3-4 Scholars in their office.

You will not be able to split. Skadden requires SAs spend at least 5 weeks at each office they're at and you're already committed to 5 with a client as a 1L scholar.
