Has anyone solidified where they're living? I need pointers. Trying to find a 2 month sublet has been awful and everything looks sketchy online. EHS and NYU are looking better by the day.

I'm in the exact position as you. I tried looking at online sublets and everything looked creepy/gross/nice but why wouldn't I just pay for EHS for that price? I think I'll just have to suck it up and go with NYU. I can't justify paying the exorbitant prices of EHS, nor can I come up with the amount of upfront money it requires. At least with NYU I wouldn't have to worry about food.
Another option I'm considering is this, though its prices too, pain my soul: http://www.nyit.edu/campus_manhattan/re ... r_housing/

Yes I got an email for a blackboard site ~ 5 days ago. People are introducing themselves, there's a welcome letter, as well as the dress code, and someone just created a facebook group and put the link there. I will say that it doesn't look like the full SEO class has introduced themselves (maybe 55 or so out of the supposed 90). So maybe you aren't the only one who hasn't gotten an email yet/ they are still filling up the class. There are people from all SEO sites posting, but majority from NY. I don't know if that helpsedamame wrote:I did not get a blackboard site link. Was this emailed?Anonymous User wrote:The facebook group link is on one of the discussion topics on the blackboard site

Hey Yall
How'd you guys get access to the actual class material we're supposed to be doing this month. I've been in for quite a while and haven't received anything relating to it. I got the blackboard stuff but as far as I know the class modules aren't on that site. I've also tried contacting them about this to no avail so any help is appreciated.

Sure! I got an email maybe a week after being accepted telling me about the trainings. On the SEO site, go to Intern Resources>> Pre-Internship Training for some background information. The email had a username, password, and direct link to the actual training program. Once I clicked on the direct link, I saw which courses Law interns need to take (like 8 or 9). When you get into the training program you'll need to find the list of courses and take each.Anonymous User wrote:Hey Yall

It looks like SEO emails may be sent in waves. So maybe if you were recently accepted, the training email hasn't been sent to your batch of admits. If you were accepted a long time ago, maybe give them another week before calling often to find out what's up. They are due by orientation start date.

Stupid/serious question here. I know opinions vary here, but do you think clean shaven means absolutely no facial here? I'm a black male and am used to having a goatee (not the Rick Ross kind, but the clean one).
