Has anyone who had a CB received an offer or ding in December? I'm just curious. Had to withdraw a week or two ago to accept another offer, and my understanding at the time was that offers were still on hold.

Re: Federal Trade Commission-Bureau of Competition Entry Level
Last email I received was on December 12, informing me that the agency hoped to receive information at the end of that week and that decisions would be made soon thereafter. I think it is fair to assume that the fiscal deal Congress struck is going to make the process even longer. Rather than the FTC receiving some certainty about their budget going forward, and then making decisions, the deal simply delayed the issue of the 1.2 trillion in automatic spending cuts on domestic programs for another two months.

Was this a response to an inquiry or an unsolicited update. The last unsolicited update I received was just before Thanksgiving. Much appreciated.rr4457 wrote:Last email I received was on December 12, informing me that the agency hoped to receive information at the end of that week and that decisions would be made soon thereafter. I've waiting to hear back from two federal honors attorney programs. This is such a shit show. I feel like at any other point in time, we'd all have heard by now.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

According to this pdf:Anonymous User wrote:Keep in mind this agency was only established in 2010.Anonymous User wrote:Any one work here 1L and returned post graduation?

people were working for the Bureau of Competition before 2010.

Oh, god, total brain fart on my part - for some reason I thought this was the Consumer Protection Financial Bureau thread. I have no idea why, I completely mix up the two. Sorry, all, total stupidity.Anonymous User wrote:Or try 1914 . . . ? For people still waiting, I talked to an attorney there a couple months ago and they have finished hiring. I don't think they told anyone honestly but he's a friend of mine and said its over. Take it for what it's worth.

Seemed like only a couple if that. They had mentioned to me that they thought everyone from the summer was coming back and they would have less space than usual.
