Did anyone else receive an email a couple of days after their CB that said a decision has not yet been made, but to update them if you receive any other offers? Anyone with offers receive this email?

It has been over a week since my cb and I have not yet received this email.

That said, Schulte seemed overly concerned about who else I had cbs/offers from. I know it is common for firms to want this information, but I think I was asked by three or four different people during my cb.

I got a similar email recently (interviewed last week), but it did not specifically ask about other offers, just about "updates."

I actually have another offer I'm going to accept, so I let them know about that. My "decline" probably won't help, but good luck to you!

yes, i know of rejections as recent as last friday

For what it is worth, I know of people at my school who received the email right after their interview. I am thinking I shouldn't read to much into the email.

hold at a school in T14. From what I know, summer associate program selection is more like a quota system- each school gets a certain number of spots. So, we are basically competing against our own peers at school.

Am I correct?

yes. at this point its just a concern of oversubscribing. keep in mind that the people that are getting offers just now off the hold list have some time to decide so you could still be going through this process for a bit before you'll know for sure either way.

However, I think it is safe to assume that once/if these hold list offers start going out the class is going to fill up pretty quickly. It's pretty late in the game and those who haven't removed themselves from consideration at this point seem likely to accept. There seems to be a lot of us in the same boat and I'm not very confident in my prospects.

Yeah, I wouldn't rule it out or anything... just because somebody is still not 100% decided on another firm at this point and open to consider Schulte doesn't mean that they haven't received another offer in the last 3 weeks.

May I ask what you like about Schulte so much? Or is this just your last hope?
