Congrats though! Worth the wait.

only morgan lewis, dechert, and duane morris pay 145 in philly. most of the rest of the big firms pay 125. the market rate in wilmington is 145, with most firms paying that. skadden wilmington even pays 160.Anonymous User wrote:My understanding is that compensation from Philly firms runs between $145K and $120K. Agree, or not?
Since Wilmington is close by, does anyone know the compensation range for Wilmington firms?
Came from an attorney I interviewed with. The offer was a bit of a surprise since I am at median.Anonymous User wrote:Hey - for any of you out there who got Pepper offers (not just the person above), could you please tell me if the offer phone call came from an attorney you interviewed with or from HR/recruitment? Thanks!!!

Between those two, I'd probably say Dechert for corp, ML for litigation.Anonymous User wrote:What do you guys think of Morgan Lewis v. Dechert?
I'd probably say Dechert for snootiness. They are far more selective in terms of schools they do OCI at and if they bother to do OCI at a tier 2 like mine they only go for people with a 3.8 which is like top 3% of the class. Also Morgan is significantly bigger and it's easier to get lost in a firm like that. Anecdotally, I'd be more impressed if you told me you worked at Dechert.Anonymous User wrote:What do you guys think of Morgan Lewis v. Dechert?
Probably better chances of making partner at Ballard if this is something you are concerned with. I hear the partnership to associate ratio at Dechert is a killer.Anonymous User wrote:What abouBetween those two, I'd probably say Dechert for corp, ML for litigation.Anonymous User wrote:What do you guys think of Morgan Lewis v. FWIW, I'm deciding between Dechert and Ballard, and am strongly leaning toward Ballard.

I've heard of an offer from Manko but that's all.

Know a bunch of people who were at Pepper last summer and they were all pretty happy with it and got offers.Anonymous User wrote:Thoughts on Pepper v. Ballard?
Why Morgan for lit? More importantly it seems, why NOT Dechert?Anonymous User wrote:What abouBetween those two, I'd probably say Dechert for corp, ML for litigation.Anonymous User wrote:What do you guys think of Morgan Lewis v. Dechert?
