Yes, I got a CB from PC Seattle. Offer. T14.
Are you an IP person? High or low T14? If you are T14, why not go for another top firm in Seattle? Rather, what other tops firms you going for?

White & Case, Dickstein Shapiro....offers from Seattle schools, but NOT from OCI. different fair.
Low T14. Not IP. No other top firms interest me in Seattle. Also have offers from the $160k techies in Seattle.

Well, PC is awesome. I really would not see a choice between the $160k techies and PC UNLESS you are money hungry. I'd bet your salary growth at PC will eventually match or surpass the other firms....not to mention the better lifestyle.

Cooley seattle is only looking to hire 1 person (insider info). However, Cooley has called back students from UW for OTHER Cooley locations: Reston, San Diego..........I'd bet palo alto too, but no confirmation.

Dorsey dinged me harder than a rock about 2 weeks ago....and I knew people!

How soon did they get back to you after the callback?

Can you elaborate on Cooley and how you heard they were only hiring one person? Does that mean they aren't calling back any UW peeps?

Different poster here than the one who gave the info about Cooley only hiring one SA. I know Cooley did call back a number of UW students, some of whom were bidding on the Seattle office. The callbacks went out fast though, within 36 hours of the screener.

What's happening with Foster Pepper and Garvey Schubert? I know Foster is still doing callbacks, but not sure about Garvey. Any offers from either?

What is Dorsey's reputation in Seattle? It isn't really like the 160K techies because it doesn't pay 160K, and it does more than just tech or VC work. Vault ranked it #5 this year in the PNW, but I have no idea whether to place any stock in that assessment.

Does anyone have an offer from somewhere besides PC and willing to out the firm? Trying to determine whether I'm being ignored/have a rejection in the mail.

Secondhand info that someone got an offer from Riddell Williams. That and PC are the only offers I know of so far.

Where have you done CBs?

I don't want to out myself, but Fenwick is the reason I asked. They were my personal favorite and I'm anticipating a long period of self-loathing when the rejection comes. :(

I know of someone with an offer from Foster Pepper to add to the list. Most Seattle and Portland firms are very behind in the game though, so I wouldn't worry about it for awhile. I am still getting CBs from firms I interviewed with over a month ago. Almost every firm said to not expect an answer for several weeks.

Is the Foster offer a local school or t14?

If you haven't heard from Fenwick yet then you are in a good position. Post CB rejections are being emailed out.

I know someone who got an offer at Fenwick. Did you get a CB from Fenwick? How long ago?

Fenwick is SUPER picky about fit. They can afford to be selective.

Cooley might be calling back more than one person, but I know they are only hiring one at the Seattle office.

I have a callback with Foster coming up.....I am surprised they already gave an offer. What do people think about Foster? If you want biglaw, but need to leave the state.....is it worth it to stay in the state and do Foster?

No. However, if that's the only offer you get then take it. Foster > nothing.

SU/UW/T14? Ties to Seattle? I wonder what they are looking for.

Has anyone heard back from Oles Morrison? Was one of my favorite screeners and haven't heard a peep. Thanks.
