i have heard about a number of ding letter all dated on 9/16. im thinking that was the most recent hiring committee meeting. now what for those who did not hear?

I had my CB on 9/15, got insta-rejected...I got a letter a few days later dated 9/16. And I thought I'd done well during the interviews too. Still, the last guy I met was extremely chilly.

Ouch. I interviewed 9/15 as well, and haven't heard back at all yet. Maybe that's a good sign?

i am going to be left with no choice soon--other offers are nearing expiration. i'm almost at the 3-week mark. have to think i'm in a holding batch, probably waiting for the responses in the first round of offers
