Are we really to think that NY offers haven't gone out yet? Anyone have one?

Re: Proskauer
If I don't hear by the end of the day, I'm going to assume ding, since there's no reason why they'd wait until later in the week to give offers that were decided at last week's hiring committee.
Hope for a phone call in the next few hours!

If that was just last Thursday, then I wouldn't expect to hear today. Didn't they say anything about the timeline?Anonymous User wrote:are we sure the hiring committee meets on fridays? should people who had CBs on the super thursday expect to hear today?

for the committee to meet, they have to have a certain number of committee members available, so if there aren't enough around on a given friday, the hiring committee doesn't meet.

I have an offer from a callback on the week of 8/18. Offer came about 2 weeks after cb.

Have some of you actually been waiting since interviews on 8/18 or 8/24? If so, that makes me feel a lot better.

This was NY and my CB was the week of Aug. 30. I did have other offers which might explain why they moved so quickly on my candidacy.Anonymous User wrote:I second that- was it NY?Anonymous User wrote:was this in NY? or some other office?Anonymous User wrote:when was your CB?Anonymous User wrote:I received an offer the day after my CB, and I declined the offer last week. I also know that a lot of offers have gone out since an email was not bcc'd, so at this point offers may go out more slowly as people decline. Good luck everyone!

Re: Proskauer
Seems like they are holding a large percentage of applicants. Does anyone know how that worked out last year? Did a significant number of people get offers later in the cycle? Was there one big ding round?
