Cadwalader callbacks are still being made. Some interviewers made them earlier this morning but John Moehringer is just making his now around 4pm.

Callbacks were sent out snail mail from Hahn and Hessen and Lowenstein Sandler.

Did anyone who interviewed with Kaye Scholer today happen to ask about their timeline for callbacks?

I heard some people have been getting both dings and CBs from O'Melveny. Not sure who the interviewer was though.

I didn't ask, but interviewer offered that callback decisions would be made in 2-3 days.

YES. So far 12 screeners, 3 cbs. I always walked out of the interviews thinking I nailed them, but for some reason 9 people didn't agree with me. A few more screeners left, but I really don't know what I'm doing wrong over here.

Is a one quarter ratio bad? It doesn't seem bad to me and certainly not alarmingly so. What ratio would you consider to be good?

Some firms take longer (sometimes a week or more) to give out callbacks, so don't automatically assume 9 people didn't agree unless they directly dinged you.

It's just a blow to one's ego to walk out of a room feeling like you made a connection, and then having the interviewer essentially disagree when it comes time to issue callbacks. I haven't heard from the others, but I assume at least a few of them are dings since some of the interviews were as long ago as last Wednesday and I see on here that they have issued callbacks to others.

Does the 12 screeners count today's interviews? And that is a perfectly solid ratio I think that many others would love to have.

agreed. hopefully you dont bitch like this about it in real life, because your friends will start to hate you if they dont already. most of the class has 5-6 interviews total and will be lucky (and grateful) to get 1 or 2 cb's out of it. just because you have a lot of screeners doesnt mean you're entitled to an equally high proportion of callbacks - its just not the nature of the process. you dont click with everyone you interview with, or dont zero in on a particular trait theyre looking for. i understand that its a demoralizing process, but there is really nothing to complain about here if you look at the big picture. plus some firms i interviewed with on wednesday only contacted me today - these places don't make all calls in one big wave within 24-48 hours. so just be patient and be grateful that you are in a position that most of the class would kill to be in.

Don't worry, I reserve all my whining for TLS! I think I came off the wrong way- I had a hard weekend since I hadn't heard anything at all until late Sunday while I watched this forum as people were getting callbacks from all the firms I interviewed with. Now that I've gotten a few CB I'm not upset at all, but I was just agreeing with the original poster about how you can walk out of an interview feeling like you hit it off but be completely wrong about it.

Got a CB from Ropes (Thursday interview) on Sunday. Nothing from Davis Polk or Quinn (Friday interviews).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
