Any idea what the offer rates are for St. Louis firms? Like CB to Offer rate ratios?

Depends on the firm. Bryan cave is like 50%, whereas husch is pretty high. I think other than that, the smaller the summer class the lower the rate.Anonymous User wrote:Any idea what the offer rates are for St. Louis firms? Like CB to Offer rate ratios?

Husch said they'd be a week or two. But then again, so did Bryan Cave so who knows.ktbug wrote:Any word from Stinson Morrison Hecker or Husch?

What about Lewis Rice? Any movement? And does anyone know their CB to offer rates?

And how do you know Husch's is pretty high? What does that mean? (Sorry, I'm just trying to clear up ambiguity so we don't have too high of hopes!)

Re: WUSL EIW
IIRC, I was told that by someone at the firm. Honestly though, the more I think about it, the less sure I am that it was Husch. The firm info I have is all running together in my mind right now. But I seem to remember a Husch associate teling me that they only call people back if they are very imterested and he implied the CB-offer rate was solid. Maybe that was pre-ITE though? So in other words, my info may be complete shit or outdated so don't rely on it.Anonymous User wrote: And how do you know Husch's is pretty high? What does that mean? However, I do know for a fact that Bryan Cave is 50% or so because their recruiting coordinator told straight up when I asked her.

I was also told by Husch that a callback meant that they were very interested in you and it was yours to lose.

Top 20% + LR. I think what helped me the most with getting this CB has been my level of interest in the firm over the past few months. I am leaning towards plaintiff's work in the long-term, and I have spoken with a number of current and former SBDers.ktbug wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Schlichter? McGuire woods ding via snail mail on saturday. SBD ding via e-mail today. I think it would be helpful to hear rejections as well to determine whether or not there might be a chance in the second round of callbacks.

I don't go to WUSTL but I was wondering, did you guys already interview with Thompson Coburn? If yes, has anyone heard back or heard when they will be making CBs?

Is Oliff & Berridge late with selections or is this the CSO's doing?

Would probably depend on the firm, but I think you're usually dealing with something in the 40-60% rangeAnonymous User wrote:Anyone know the typical Chicago firm CB:Offer rates?

They don't allow internet access in their office, so it's probably Oliff's fault.Anonymous User wrote:Is Oliff & Berridge late with selections or is this the CSO's doing?

GHG callback today. Top 20% + LR. Really excited because I love this firm, but they're only taking 2-3 SAs.
