I also highly doubt people's self assessed interview ability. If 5 is average, then so far no one has been below average, which doesn't make sense. By 6-7 I mean I'm fairly normal. Not nervious, can crack a joke here and there, don't say anything dumb, but neither am I so outgoing that I can just carry the interivew on my own.

At Fordham it seems if you had a 3.5 you did very well for yourself. Very few people who have under a 3.5 have offers, but there are some.

FWIW -- 3 of the offers I ended up with, including the firm I accepted with, were from mass mail/resume. If I had relied on OCI, I would have had a much more stressful season.

Believe the picture to be slightly better than this-- there are a decent number of people in the 3.4+ range who have gotten things, but certainly 3.5 = better chance of being safe. I should point out that top quarter is 3.38, so we are discussing well qualified people. Work experience seemed to play a big role in who (above top third but below top 15%) got offers. People are still going on callbacks, though, so data is not final.
