I was the OP on that comment. I did two rounds of interviews at BR (not from a school with BR OCI). After my first round, they invited me back for a second round on the Wednesday afternoon following my first interview there. After my second round, I received an offer a little over a week later on a Wednesday. Since both communications came on Wednesdays, I figured most of their hiring-related activities take place on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, FWIW. Really liked everyone at the firm, and it seems like an interesting place to be. So good luck to you all!

Career services said to follow up with Nixon Peabody since still no word from them.....I think this is dumb since it seems like nobody has gotten a CB from them yet, just dings....thoughts?

They may have just not decided to give CBs to any BC Law people. They said they were having a really small summer class.

Yeah... some firms are literally taking a class of 6 yet interviewing at 25 schools.

NP is having a class of 3 in Boston. I have a CB, from lower t-14 with Boston ties.

I heard from a friend working there that the class is larger than 3, but maybe things have changed.

When I asked my screening interviewer directly how many SAs they were taking for 2011, I got the answer 3. This was. obviously, fairly recently. In any case, it seems to be very close to that number based on my CB interviews.

no worries, it was mutual--i had already decided to turn down the offer if it came in.

glad you feel better! remember that despite the bad economy, you need to pick what is best for *you*, an interesting and smart person that would be a great employee--don't get sucked down by the power differential/judging
