McDermott was within my personal top 10 firms I'd like to work at. I'm definitely starting to get frustrated.

No it's not. I was top 10% last year, 7 CBs out of 16 firms, and I got dinged from both of those as well as several other in that stratum. Of the seven CBs, four were V10, and one was V10 regional office. Katten and McDermott don't think you're going to work there.

178-178.5 interviewed with about 22 firms so far. No callbacks, mostly east coast offices

Can't speak to dings but I was both called and snailed mailed a CB invite, so I assume they probably snail mailed their dings.

Also, received a snail mail Hughes Hubbard rejection.

Wouldn't be bad if people received CBs/dings they knew for a fact were sent out, even if they personally weren't on the receiving end.
