did anyone else get a cravath email telling them that they have no room in summer but to apply for full employment next year? is that their form email or is that something unusual?

Try again in 5 minutes. These numbers, as you can imagine, are quite popular these days. It's likely you can get a person if you keep trying, and it's better than an ever ending game of phone tag.
