I visited campus last week planning on going elsewhere. I can't overstate how much I loved the school. I will be attending and will be coming back as soon as possible (when I have enough money) to find an apartment.

Do you know when most of the lease terms for students begin and what beyond a security deposit and application fee is required to sign a lease? I had to pay a security deposit + first and last months rent where I go to school now.

I've thumbed through the Tuscaloosa housing guide and picked out some places that I would like to look at, so I've got a little bit of an idea. I'm probably going to be looking for a roommate or two, if anybody else is in the same boat. By the way, if anybody wants to start getting to know each other, you guys can PM and I'll send you my facebook info.

Im in UG at Alabama right now. Check out the University Village and University Downs. If your looking for a house I'd check out the 30+ new houses on 13th street in between Hackberry and 10th Ave. though they're kind of pricey.
