Hey and I bet you got into a T-14 (25?) school and think that everything else is crap. I did not ask for your judgment on Brooklyn Law, nothing in this thread screams "hey if you dont go here come on in and shit on this school--and the students who attend just so you can get off on being so damn smart." Are you in the BLS Class of 2012, oh you're not? Leave.

Haha, I think we got off on the wrong foot. I actually like Brooklyn Law. I think they have a ton of potential, especially as the area becomes more popular. I think Cardozo is overrated and will probably drop in the rankings. Look for BLS to move up. Congrats

Wrong foot indeed. If you were trying to be funny or sarcastic. I am sorry, sometimes the stuff gets lost in the vastness of the intertubes, i mean net. I just get sick of the people who sit and TTT BLS just b/c they have some misguided view that we all think we are some how going to land the best job on earth. To those people I say I am smart enough to read about it myself.

Thank you.

Although I probably will not attend Brooklyn, I think its a fine school and I'm sure you will have plently of great opportunities after graduation.

Best of Luck

Thanks. I wish you luck where ever it is you go.
I certainly hope so, I plan on working my ass off to try and make sure of that. Either way, there is no guarantee of anything. Im just going to do my work as best as I can, and in the end hopefully it will pay off.

The main problem with Brooklyn stems from the fact that its a regional school in an extremely competitive region. However, Brooklyn has a very accomplished student body and an amazing facutly. Most employers in New York recognize this and many doors will open for you. That said, its necessary to graduate fairly high in your class if you want a chance at Big Law, Clerkships, etc..

While we are in TOP-LAW-SCHOOL.com I think it is still important to recognize that not everyone will be going to one but still want to find an internet community to discuss their school and I agree that it is not necessary to dump on a school just b/c you think you're too entitled to ever go there.

However, with that said, it is still important to recognize how difficult it is to get biglaw out of BLS. But that is not meant to dump on BLS, it is to educate with statistics instead of bro-say.

I believe most, including myself, are waiting for Brooklyn to make scholarship decisions before deciding.

Just give them a call and they will set you up with a tour and all that fun stuff.
