for those that have accepted already, did you receive fin aid packages? im curious about the amount of grant I may receive and wonder if I need to accept first. I already turned in the other docs.

re: financial aid, I think they said it takes two weeks for them to process your application once all the materials have been received (I think, but I don't have the letter in front of me, so I can't be sure).

Re: Hastings Class of 2012
Haven't received any financial aid materials yet--just a notice that tuition has been increased, and that it might continue to be increased at any time. Seriously, how much will a public education cost in California by 2012?
And to those from the LA area: Is "hella" still the preferred adverb of Northern California? If any of us start using it, I'll have your back if you have mine . . .

Anyone know if Hastings is providing travel reimbursement for their Admitted Students Day?

Re: Hastings Class of 2012
considering california's budget crisis, i'm guessing travel stipends will be pretty hard to come by without some serious proof of need. i suppose it's worth a shot though.

debating. seems interesting, but not important. plus i'm a cpa and this is the busiest time of the year for me. it would be hell leaving work early and trying to get from downtown to century city at 6 pm.

Re: Hastings Class of 2012
maybe you can manage if you let your boss know a couple of weeks in advance that you have to leave early for that one day. with that much notice, there's no way he/she can stop you. maybe it would help if you came in early that day as well...
