After getting in my forms, it took less than a week I'd say.

Good. I've seen you around here posting, and I was hoping you'd be a Wolverine in the fall. Be prepared to suffer the wrath of my MK skills.

I found this randomly linked in another thread.

http://www.nytimes.com/1982/07/20/scien ... gewanted=1

It's an article about the law school from 27 years ago. In case anyone was bored.

Cool article... thanks for posting!

I'm already tired of studying for my one and only final, and I have five more days to go.

that is an awesome article.

In a lot of ways I think things are the same in terms of the attitude of the students and faculty.

"Michigan has continued, however, to ignore such fads and fashions as clinical education."

I had to smile at this, though.

They have outstanding clinics now, one of which I am fortunate enough to be in for next year. But to be honest, I'm sure that if they thought they could get away with it, they would STILL be ignoring these "fads and fashions." Michigan has bent to the practical as reluctantly as any top school, but where they have come around, they've done as well as any, and probably better than most. We have a new legal writing instructor starting next year, for instance, and they hired that person just so they could free up a current instructor to start teaching a Transactional Drafting class next Winter. I'm not sure I'll have time for it even in 3L, but for anyone going into transactional work, it should be fantastic.

I'm attending Michigan in large part because of their excellent clinical education. That's why I thought that quotation from the article was amusing--it's an obvious strength at Michigan today.

Depending on what version of the game you are talking about, I will Yoshi-Egg, Dr. Mario-cape, or Diddy Kong-bananapeel you into oblivion.

But I'm serious. I'll be working in town this summer and LOVE a good Smash Bros. match.

Soooo I bought my boyfriend a Wii and he doesn't use it. I just may need to join the gamers and bring the Wii to Mich. Yay Wii bowling!!!

I'm in. Now: what I offer to party with.

A Xbox360 with ever single game ever made for it. That's not a lie. I have them all. 4 controllers. The Rock Band Drums / Guitars. Two good Street Fighter / Tekken sticks. I have a 50dlp TV.

I have a mame cocktail arcade cabinet. It has every arcade game ever made until like 2006 and I'm working on that.

I also have (playable through emulation) every sega master system, NES, SNES, Genesis, TG16, NeoGeo, N64, colecovision, Atari 2600 / 7200 game ever made. If you ever played it, I have it.

I also have PSP & Nintendo DS with every game ever made.

I have a bar in the basement.

Whatcha guys think? Dorks and drinks?

And to the person who asked, it's a mix in here. PK is a 2L.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
