I grew up in Alexandria VA, and attended the College of William and Mary where I received a B.A. in History with a focus on American diplomacy in 2006. There I edited the conservative student newspaper, The Remnant. I currently live in McLean, VA. I have been admitted to the University of Virginia School of Law and will begin taking classes in August 2009; at which point I will more or less suspend my political activities.

Wow. He always pops up on the 6-8 people you see on the UVA Class of 2012 site and I always thought he looked like a pretty innocent kid.

I have to ask the question, though. Where's the evidence that the organizations this guy is a member of are white nationalist/supremacist or racist? That SPLC article reads like a baseless witch hunt.

Is that article NOT full of loaded terms? "Extremist", "white nationalist", "white supremacist", "anti-immigrant hate site", "racist", "racial hatred". It seems like they're implying guilt by association, and the labels they've thrown at those organizations maybe not even be applicable. I'm just saying I'm not going to assume this guy's a racist asshole just because a liberal website told me so. If there are articles he's written or speeches he's given that suggest he is a racist asshole, then I'd love to see em, but I think there's a reason the SPLC hasn't cited his articles or speeches, as they might be contrary to how they're trying to portray this guy.

Personal Opinion: I find that many people who want to preserve "Western Civilization" tend to use it as a cover for wanting to bring about white nationalism, especially far-right Europeans. Is Epstein quite the demon SPLC and other groups make him out to be? Maybe not. Still, not someone I'd particularly want to socialize with.

Well put. I hope he is at ASD to see what he is like in person. I'm also curious how many mariachi dancers is too many in his book.

Marcus was at the March 13th ASD. I met him but, never really had a chance to speak to him. In fact I think I introduced myself to him 3 separate times not realizing we had already met.... yeah. I'll reserve any judgement about him off this site.

didn't someone also ask what the student:professor ratio was? can't remember exactly, I just know there was one question during the student panel where everyone was surprised.

Now that I think about it, did you guys receive confirmation that you submitted and they received your financial aid application? I don't remember getting an e-mail or anything like that, and I don't see anywhere on the website that I can check.

I thought the most awkward moment during the Q&A with the current students was when that dood's Father asked how to go about finding a "study partner."
