Did everyone get a letter from U of Iowa talking about your experience and how it perfectly fits some clinic/research center or other opportunity?

Did it feel like they were trying to sell you the school at the same time as they told you no on the scholarship front?

I received no such letter. Dean Byrd probably saw my name, shuddered, and went on to the next name on the list.

It was signed by Dean Jones. Maybe she doesn't like bunnies?

It also said to call and talk to them. I think they're crushing on me.

Which is especially interesting as my research is completely unrelated to any clinic offered, so they just left that part out.

This Webcam points northward from the Hydraulics Laboratory of the university's world-renowned IIHR. It captures a live view of the campus and the picturesque Iowa River, which is central to city and university life.
From this vantage one can see the University Library, which holds one of the nation's largest public-university collections, and the University's English-Philosophy Building. I didn't get one, but they already told me I had to do it as part of my scholarship, so maybe they decided that I didn't warrant a 'special snowflake' letter

I'd like to know if there are any youngish parents aged 23 - 35'ish with babies/toddlers that will be attending.
It would be nice to get a small group together for park days, play dates, etc.

You're welcome... I obviously don't know if it has or will have any impact on anyone, but I initially sent in a deposit and accepted Iowa's full ride in March only to notify them a week ago that I had changed my mind.

I'm sure that over the next few months as people get off of waitlists, a few more scholarships could open up.

Anyway, congrats.
