For those wondering: my parents contacted housing (I'm out of the country at the moment) and there are only 56 people who have made deposits. They said they'll be sending out the leases next week via email.

does anyone know when they expect to have all the financial aid offers sent out? I assume it is before we have to make a decision?

By end of March...just a guess. It was supposed to be around 2 weeks after the March 2 deadline.

The admissions coordinator (very helpful guy, btw) told me today that all offers should be out by the end of the month.

i called the financial aid office to ask this very question the other day and spoke to a lady. she said that she was working on them right now and hoped to have them out by the end of this week.

in any case, it sounds like we'll be getting them before the davis seat deposit is due.

When is the Davis seat deposit deadline? I haven't been accepted yet but I hope I have more than 3 days to decide whether to attend.

4/15. davis also said that they would send out final financial aid award letters before that deadline.

given the state of california's budget crisis, i would say mid 30s for in state students and mid 40s for out of state students... definitely closing the gap between public and private schools.

as far as i know, there aren't any dining commons at hastings so you're on your own for food...

if you mean the alumni events, here are the dates/locations:
Los Angeles - Thursday, March 19

Orange County - Wednesday, April 1

San Diego - Thursday, April 2

San Francisco - Thursday, April 2

you should e-mail them to rsvp.

I don't think that info is on the admitted student site. They sent me an e-mail with the dates.
