Another guy messaged me the other day and said he was admitted regular decision. I have a feeling that these are all auto-admits.
Congrats either way.

A few people on TLS with similar stats to mine went complete around the same time I did and have gotten (non-ED) decisions already... I am REALLY hoping for a call today.

I got the call on the 12th, but I certainly don't think I was an auto-admit
They did tell me I was fast tracked - point being, I wouldn't be worried if you haven't gotten the call yet. It is still VERY early.

Is anyone else going to visit in March for one of the admitted students days? I definitely think I'm going to do that but I'll probably try to visit before then as well. My stepbrother is an undergrad at Washington and Lee so I usually visit him at least once a semester.
I was wondering what the graduate housing is like up there? I'm single and I don't know anyone else going to law school there so I need to find someone to live with.

I'm planning a visit in about two weeks or so. It's between UVA or Berkeley for me. Tough decision as I really want to return to Texas afterwards.

Question for admitted ED applicants:
I notice that UVA requests the LSAC reports in paper form (which is supposed to take 8-10 days). Does it really take that long?
If I my application was transmiited 2 days ago, the report requested the same day, and sent the ED contract overnight yesterday, when should I expect to hear from them?
Thank you!

Isn't this a forum for people who've decided they're actually going to UVA, not those who've been accepted.

Congrats to all!! But your 4 pages are weak-sauce compared to the 2011 thread!!
Oh, and a word of warning. UVA was over-enrolled this past year, and there was little action on the waitlist. I would expect the same this year. Not to dash anyone's hopes, but UVA has not had a yield problem the past couple of years, and have started to get more generous with their money offerings. The over-enrollment might be a problem for those looking to transfer here as well . . . again, not tryin to be debbie downer, but I figure these are real concerns that people will appreciate being aware of.

um . . . somewhere in the 10-20 range, i'm not sure what the final number settled out at.
And I've already punched him before . . . but he's 6'5, and I'm only 6'1, so I don't do it too often

Hmm, yeah that'd be problematic.

Hey, for those of you who are going to UVA in the fall. How are you planning to find roommates?

I would love to find someone to live with before I go to the Admitted Students day in the spring. I'm not sure where I want to live yet, my parents who are paying for my living expenses are kind of leaning towards the graduate housing.
I'm willing to talk to anyone about living together. I'm female but I'm not absolutely opposed to having a male roommate.

I know a lot of students used the admitted students website chatboard to find roommates. Also try these sites:
http://www.universityoffgrounds.com/roommates.cfm
--LinkRemoved--.
There's not a ton on there right now but it'll pick up. Also search Charlottesville's craigslist -there will be plenty of law students posting for roommates.

Facebook group is linked earlier in this thread.
Thanks!
ED is the best thing I could have done. Now I'm gonna sit back and enjoy the ride. Still, I have to finish my Master's and community service projects that I comitted myself to but it's nice to know I will be attending a great law school and not have to go through the anxiety of the regular cycle.
