I'll take that chance too...Let's hope they haven't updated it because "to minimize anxiety, the final-decision indicator won’t appear until a couple of days after a decision letter has already been mailed". And instead of updating it to keep saying Complete they hold off updating "Decision" until a few days after it is mailed.

good point. The users didn't specify that they were deferred, so there was no D next to their status. I didnt bother to look at the decision date. whoops

My status didn't update today. First non-weekend day that happened with Michigan.
Something going on behind the scenes, perhaps?

I think we'll find out on the 18th if past cycle is based on Thanksgiving date. I was hoping it was based on start of November...

Quick question: Those of you who wrote a DS for your Michigan App, did you just work it into one of the optional essays or as a separate essay?

I hope you're not right about the blank page thing, but I think you probably are. I went complete after you but before vidhartha and mine still says complete. I want mine to be blank too!!

self imposed exile. She's welcome back at any time so it's not a *real* ban. She just loves the sweet sweet taste of TLS too much. Why was she banned?

I worked it into one of my optional essays. Specifically, I submitted my DS (with a slightly altered conclusion) for Essay #7.cougarlive wrote:Quick question: Those of you who wrote a DS for your Michigan App, did you just work it into one of the optional essays or as a separate essay?

Thanks! I was a regular applicant. I checked the box for summer or fall so they gave me the option.

It was supposed to be last week if you go by placement in November and today if you go by Thanksgiving. They really need to continue patterns because anxiety kills.

Oh, I didn't realize that, but I guess it makes sense. Have any ED people on LSN gotten a Darrow?

no one has received a darrow, but some have received money, which is pretty generous of them. I mean, they have to attend the school, so the money isn't meant to sway their decision (because it's nonexistent)

Re: Michigan 2012
Thanks but I can't imagine I'd be considered for a Darrow. I assume they base their scholarship decisions on numbers and mine are nothing special(4.0/169). I can always dream though...Also, she said they weren't sending decisions until a "later point" which is a very uninformative statement.melda wrote:they must be starting to court people for the darrow...maybe i should have applied regular decision! silly me, i thought applying early meant i would hear early...congrats, though! any idea when they will actually start sending decisions? don't they know that they're late??!

Re: Michigan 2012
ok i'm a bit confused...
I just received my online status check ID. I logged in for the first time and found that my status was complete. how is that possible? I submitted my app a bit late for ED (around the 9th), and my app wasn't even requested until the 14th, could I have really gone complete in 4 days? is there some kind of mistake? I'm going to jump for joy if i'm actually complete and being considered as an ED applicant!
