I guess it doesn't really matter all that much anymore since I think some of you can figure out who I am, but don't some of you want to retain your anonymity. I mean, let's face it, we've all said stuff on this site we would probably not say to people we actually knew.

As the UVA Class of 2012 leader of the TLS post count (nearing 4000... ), I've probably said the most regrettable stuff on here. I changed my username to get some anonymity from any creepazoids from other schools, but I'm pretty open about my identity to others going to UVA. A decent number of you know me on Facebook, and those who aren't friends with me yet are urged to PM me and correct that mistake.

That would give less incentive to match the offer. I would tell them that despite Michigan's offer, you are still very interested in Virginia, financially makes more sense for you right now. If UVA were to offer something similar, it would push them over the top.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I'm telling them that UVA remains my first choice if it's financially possible. That sounds reasonable and not too pushy, right?

I wouldn't worry about your TLS posts coming back to get you. We had thousands of posts in the UVA thread last year and nobody has said a word about any of them this year except to mock the still anonymous individual who claimed she was going to report people for sexism.

Just getting to get a sense from everyone, how many of you are showing up on the 12th and are planning to go to the events (tours, bbq, etc.) planned for the evening that day? My guess is, that would be the easiest place for us to all meet.
