How do we get our ID cards? I'm sure it was posted somewhere but I can't find it by searching. I need to know where to go and what to bring.

So I just went to Wal-Mart to get furniture. I got a desk, bookshelf, and file cabinet set for $69, a four-drawer dresser for $59, and a fairly nice chair for $84. Woohoo!

did you leave one of each for me? if so i might be heading over there tonight.

Target has some good stuff for cheap, too, and most of it is cute and pretty colors.

Also, sorry I didn't make it tonight, I fractured my foot this afternoon so I wasn't exactly up for it.

Observatory Hall dining, on the corner of Alderman and McCormick. There is metered parking out front (off of McCormick). You need a government ID, so drivers license or passport.

It's also pretty likely they were up at COB last weds and just not posted until later on TLS, I doubt an admin drove to or stayed at the law school until 11 just to keep us on our toes

The ER just gave me a shoe boot thing and crutches, I have to call in the morning to get an appt with an orthopedic dr to see if I need a cast or walking boot or what. I've been through this before a few years ago when I tripped down the stairs and broke my ankle, lol.

Isn't it funny how you always seem to re-injure the same place? And by funny I mean incredibly depressing since you know exactly which operations and rehab will be required again.

I said it before but I'll repeat that I will be at the law school early tomorrow morning for an interview and will alert you all if they're posted so don't waste a trip to the law school.

I just heard yall were discussing my photos of last year as proof that section lists might go up early. Yes, that was the case last year. Yes, I took and posted pictures at around 11pm Thursday night. However, like someone mentioned, they were probably posted somewhat earlier than that. (I and friends went to see a movie and when it was over we had messages from friends telling us they had been posted--only then did I go over and take the pictures.)

Hopefully they'll post early for you... I remember how annoying it was not knowing (and how dumb that they don't just post the info online)! Also, I have late interviews today so I can check the board for yall around 4 or 5 if Gladiator hasn't already.

does anyone have a suggestion where to buy a cheap, new sofa? any furniture stores you've been to in the area (not ikea)?

I got a quality real-furniture sofa for $399 from Berkmar Drive Discount Furniture, on Berkmar Drive just off US29. The problem with shopping there is the delivery arrangements; they don't run their own delivery service, they'll just give you the names of a few semi-professional people in town and leave it to you to find someone who'll deliver it. But I really think they can't be beat for cheap sofas.
