Took you long enough. Seriously though, congratulations. Watson will be lonely at MSU.crystalhawkeye wrote:It's official"While greatly humbled by your offer of admission and generous scholarship, I am writing to withdraw my application from the Michigan State University College of Law, class of 2012."

Anyone would share your idea about Iowa vs Tulane with 25k?
I mean, seriously, I love iowa but as I have to pay 17k more for non-residential tuition, the offer at Tulane never looks as overwhelming as it is now (plus a warmer climate where I can exhibit my flamboyant tank tops
. A huge point for exhibitionists like me).

You would pay less for 2L and 3L at Iowa if you get an RA/TA job and the vast majority of out of state students that want them get them.tigerl wrote:Anyone would share your idea about Iowa vs Tulane with 25k?

I'm not very familiar with Tulane but crime might be a concern. At Iowa, not so much as Iowa City is ranked as one of the most livable cities in the country. Just my two cents.
Edit: tank tops are entirely appropriate from late spring to early fall at Iowa if that floats your boat.

Re: Iowa 2012
Unlike crystalhawkeye today, I was unable to make the committment ... I have just withdrawn from Iowa.
Although I still have nearly 20 schools to hear back from (crazy, I know), I am leaning towards the taking the full-ride + some living expenses at Baylor.
All the best to everyone on this thread! I'll still be watching ...

Ok, fine. I make ample jokes. But this is not one. That line is from the e-mail I sent to MSU, similar to the ones I sent to Indiana, Illinois, and W&L. Now quit doubting me, dammit.mikeytwoshoes wrote:Sure you don't.crystalhawkeye wrote:I don't make jokes.mikeytwoshoes wrote:April fools?
