Hey all! Finally made my decision to attend WAKE! I'm from Syracuse, NY and am graduating from University at Buffalo this May! Can't wait to head down to W-S!

Haha yes I remember you, how's it going? I just made a Class of 2012 facebook group if anyone wants to join. Just search for Wake Forest Law Class of 2012 and it should pop up.

Yes it is. Although, I am still hoping to be pulled off UNC's waitlist. Simply a money issue, as my financial aid package consist of loans

Anyone planning on going to the PAD House Hunt? I already signed a lease for an apartment but I've been told it's a really fun weekend and that it would be a good idea to go anyway.

Wow, you already found housing! Are any of you on waitlist, or is it "Wake". I do not plan on even looking until early July, and most likely I will end up buying. Then again I only live a couple hours away.

I'm definitely going to Wake, so I figured it would be a good idea to get a jump on housing. I live out of state so I'm limited in the amount of times I can get down there between now and August. If I was in your situation (buying/in close proximity) I probably wouldn't have even thought about it yet either.

Yeah, I've already signed a lease on a condo. I just really like to get things taken care of as soon as possible! So, I won't be coming out to the house hunt -- although, if I lived closer or could afford it, I would, as it sounds like fun! I DO plan on going to many baseball games once I move, though. I just WISH they had an MLB team nearby. It will be sad to leave the Royals just as they are actually doing decently - right now their (newly renovated) stadium is only a mere 30 minutes away! At least I like the Braves. They will now have to be my local affiliation!

I am 100% decided on Wake and found a house with a 3L for only $300/month on the housing web page. I have to share a bathroom, but it's in walking distance to campus and the lease term is flexible. Most of the apartments require a 1 year lease (or you have to pay more for a shorter lease) and since I don't plan to stay during the summer, I don't want to pay for it. You can find someone to sublease, but that is a hassle. Anyway, there are still 2 rooms open in this house if any females are interested.

I am due May 4th - it may seem very soon, sometimes, however, it feels like she is never coming. People keep teasing me with stories of babies coming weeks early. Unfair. I am way tired of being preggo, and wish I could just get it over with!!
