Too late for direct deposit. I think the deadline was August 14th.

Re: Hastings Class of 2012
i've another dumb question:
if my account says i've a balance of x dollars due (tomorrow), but my statement of accounts states that my loans cover the amount due (and of course leave me with the negative balance), do i need to do anything at all for tomorrow?
i know that's a pretty dumb question, i just don't know why my account already shows y dollars were paid but still shows me as owing this x balance.
just clarifying from the smartest people i know at hastings!

Re: Hastings Class of 2012
As far as I understand. Paying anything you owe to Hastings is the priority which means that technically Hastings should pay all that you owe to them before issuing you a check. Now, if there is a hold or anything else funny with your account it can tie up your funds. Assuming that everything is fine though, since some of your bills have been paid, I would imagine the Fiscal Services office is just extra busy. I have been waiting for my Tower Deposit refund check for over 1 month now. I spoke to someone in Fiscal Services on Friday and she apologized and said they were really backed up. She was very nice. If your account says you still owe tomorrow then I would just stop by their office or give them a call. They are very helpful and are probably the ones to give you the best final answer. Did you pick up your check yet? Maybe only a portion of your funds cleared and it wasn't enough to pay off your full balance yet. I'm really just guessing though.deadatheist wrote:i've another dumb question:
