Woodlands has an awesome pool if any of you actually were going to plan something. Ivy and Jeffersonian are more along the lines of a motel pool minus the dead body.

How about the pools at University Heights? I don't expect much more than the motel pool minus the dead body, but maybe I'll be surprised. Do you know, Gladiator?

No clue, I've never been to U-Heights. I think the only places you'll find nice pools are the more new and "upscale" places like Woodlands and Avemore.

seriously, can we have a murder-suicide pact about ever discussing the LSAT [in the context of our performance on it] again?

I always feel dirty if it comes up in conversations, even with random people. Like asking someone how much money they make.

It's like getting to college and then discussing SAT scores. When I got to school people started telling me who in the class got 1600s and I wanted to vomit in my mouth. Ultimately, it's a moot point and has no meaning in reality, because everyone is starting at the same school.

along the lines of this pool party/bbq TLS get together, does anybody golf? I admit I am pretty terrible but UVa has an awesome course called Birdwood which is right off Ivy road and is discounted for students. this could be another good thing to do before classes start

My BF is an avid golfer and he went and hit some balls at Birdwood the other day I think. He said it looked nice.

You know, that offer is sounding tempting, but I'm horrible at keeping a straight face so I wouldn't attempt it. If I were to attempt it though, I would probably wear a suit to class and place ten different law books on the desk to reinforce the gunner image.

What would be more awkward, asking the question seriously, or starting to ask it and bursting into a fit of laughter after getting past the 180 part?

I'm not sure if I asked this previously (I think I did but no one responded) but is there any hope for UVA's football team this season? Any potentially team-saving recruits other than those listed on ESPN?
